Complaints, Compliments and Comments

Just Drop-In is committed to providing a continually improving service to all of our service beneficiaries. A key part of this is listening to and responding positively to the views of others. This includes understanding and learning from complaints to use them constructively to improve our organisation.

If you are unhappy with any part of our service

We would encourage you to discuss it with the person who you are working with. We want to do the best job for you and will be open to listening to your worries.

If you do not feel you can do this, or you wish to make a complaint then you should make a complaint to the Manager of the Service you are accessing. They will listen to you, look into your concerns and they will get back to you within 10 working days of your contact. They will also tell you what to do if you are not happy with their findings or actions.

We have postcards around the building that you can fill in, if you prefer to write things down.

We would encourage you to resolve any issues with us in the first place but if you feel you need to raise concerns with an external agency then you can contact the following:

To raise concerns about a Counsellor please click the following link: How to complain about a BACP member

To raise concerns about how your data has been used please click the following link: Make a complaint | ICO

If you think we have been doing a good job

Then please fill-in comments postcard or send us an email or text. You can also tell us using the forms you fill in at the end of your sessions with us.

Safeguarding at Just Drop-In

Safeguarding is at the very heart of all that we do at Just Drop-In. We work to ensure all the children, young people and adults we work with are protected from harm and given every opportunity to reach their potential and thrive.

Everyone at Just Drop-In has a responsibility to safeguard, but some people have special roles:

If you are worried about the safety of a child or young person you can contact The Cheshire East Consultation on 0300 123 5012 or 0300 123 5022 for the Out of Hours Duty Team.

For concerns about housing you can call housing options on 0300 123 5025.

If you are a young person and want someone to talk to about how you are feeling, you can contact Childline on 0800 1111.

If you are significantly worried about someone’s clinical risk, linked to their mental health please follow the guidance on our “Is this a time of crisis” button.

Helen Mackay is our lead manager for clinical risk.

Hello, I am Helen and I am here to make sure children and young people get access to the right help to support their mental health. Follow our time of crisis button for more information.

Equality and Diversity

We will actively demonstrate our commitment to promoting a diverse and inclusive community – a place where we can all be ourselves and experience success.

Our Equality and Diversity Policy is reviewed annually and is available on request.

Just Drop-In has an Under-Served Communities Champion – Faye Ronan – who leads on all aspects of Diversity, so if you have any ideas or want to get in touch about any aspect of this vitally important part of our charitable purpose then do get in touch.

Just Drop-In recognizes that we have a responsibility to the environment beyond legal and regulatory requirements. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental performance as an integral part of our operating methods, with regular review points. We will encourage our stakeholders to do the same.

This is an area in which we know we can and will do more, if you have a passion for the environment why not get in touch and help us as we strive to achieve our environmental goals.
