Rewind 18 months and Rachel had been out of education for two years due to mental health difficulties, spending all of her time completely isolated from her peer group for a substantial amount of time. Rachel blossomed through her 12 month Foundations journey, practicing social skills and chatting to lots of other young people and volunteers. This gave her the confidence to be herself around her peers.
Rachel is now in education and looking to the future. She has new friends and is having fun.
