Is This A Time Of Crisis?
Just Drop-In is not a crisis service. If you need specialist mental health support, speaking to your GP would be a good next step for you. You can speak to them about other services such as the Mental Health Hub, CAMHS or other adult services that are right for you at this time.
If you have an immediate, life-threatening emergency requiring mental or physical health assistance
Please go to your nearest Accident and Emergency (A&E) Department or dial 999. A medical practitioner will be able to assess you and give you appropriate help.
For young people or parents of young people who are experiencing a mental health crisis
Call the Crisis Line for Cheshire East: 0800 145 6485. This is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is an all age service.
If your mental or emotional state quickly gets worse or deteriorates, it’s important to get help quickly. This phone number should be the first port of call for all urgent mental health support, and the dedicated local team will be able to tailor advice to suit your needs.
You can also call the NHS – dial 111 and select the option for mental health.
Other sources of support include:
Samaritans – this is free to call 24 hours a day: 01625 116 123
Papyrus HOPELINE247 is a confidential support and advice service for children and young people under the age of 35 who are experiencing thoughts of suicide, or anyone concerned that a young person could be thinking about suicide. Call 0800 068 4141 or text 88247
